Very enlightening article. Is there a list of the companies that are / are not fair trade? I seem to have hear lots of rumblings over the years that Walmart did/does employ child labor overseas.

Great review, Brandie! I wish I was at the concert. I keep telling myself that I need to go, but it looks like I already missed their North American tour.

Awesome show...One more check on the bucket list. My younger brothers went too, and it wasn't the hits they enjoyed. Is was the newer material. When you see a masterful group of real musicians like them. It really contrasts the McMusic thats shoved down there throat every day. Thanks Curt, Roland... wherever you may be tonight. Keep sowing them seeds.

What will those Japanese think of next? They love their robots, though. Which, to me, is a bucket full of win!

You're quick to call Goatwhore and Skeletonwitch out on their names alone but you don't mention hearing a single note from either band. Goatwhore is the most talented, hardworking band on that second stage bill this year with Skeletonwitch in close second... These so called "second rate" bands busted their asses to get where they are and continue to "pursue every interview" and "shake every fan's hand." (Did you miss the signings?) If it's a case of simply not being familiar with these bands and their music, why not be honest in your review and say that? If you did indeed take the time to check these bands out and were legitimately unimpressed, than back it up with some real points. After all, isn't that what William Miller would do? Next time you might want to focus less on cheap digs and clever Almost Famous analogies and pay attention to what matters: The Music.
