Joe Biden Drops the F-Bomb
Yeah, this was an easy one for us. Leave it to our politicians to knock off an F-bomb every once in a while and while they’re within earshot of a microphone. It’s not like this is the first politician to be caught saying a dirty word. I would wager that with the exception of Jimmy Carter, we could easily find more examples of our political elite showing us their best impressions of George Carlin. But Joe gets the nod as the latest high profile member of the cabinet to do so. Good job Joe!

Health Care Bill was signed into law
Whether you were for or against this, compromise is never good and leave it to the government to still find a way to mess this one up. Really? 2014? I’m not sure that President Obama’s legacy will be fully realized by the end of his first term. Kudos for doing what he said he would do. But if there’s a second term how will he fix the top heavy budget? I’m just saying, has anyone thought about the deficit at all? And I’m just not convinced that this is going to help those that really need the boost. It certainly isn’t going to help all those people that will have to pay the horrible premiums while insurance companies are given free reign to price gouge until 2014. So there you have it – the new bill fixes almost nothing and will still cost us a pretty penny in the process.

NCAA Basketball Tournament
Yes, March Madness is here! And with those words, I just lost ALL of our female readers. Come back soon, we’ll miss you! Okay guys, sit down, grab a beer and let’s talk sports. Thumbs up to Northern Iowa for upsetting KU. Thumbs down to KU for losing to Northern Iowa. It’s freaking Northern Iowa! Thanks for messing up my bracket UNI. I hope you get crushed in the next round. Just kidding. (No I’m not.)

Tiger Woods’s 18th Mistress Revealed
Okay, now this is getting ridiculous. Tiger Woods now has a mistress for every hole on the golf course – and yes, I know that this sounds wrong. But it was in the news and I thought if I failed to mention it then it would somehow diminish our shock at the fact that a professional athlete could ever be unfaithful to his wife. The first thing he should still do is fire his publicity person for even giving him the suggestion that his wife was trying to save him while he was in his car.
Tiger: What do I say?
Publicist: Tell them that you had a low speed collision into a wall next to your house and in the panic of it all, your wife was trying to save you by smashing windows with a golf club.
What? Tell me you didn’t laugh also when you first heard that his wife was trying to save him by smashing in the windows of his car with a golf club. I know I did.

Sprint Unveils First 4G Phone
The technophile in me couldn’t resist posting this as one of the next best things since sliced bread to be coming out on the mobile phone market. If you haven’t already invested your child’s college education in buying a new smartphone, Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G coming out this summer. Now this is the phone that I will be dreaming about until I remember my math and moan about how I can never afford such things, but dream with me will you? It has an 8 megapixel camera with flash AND you can play HD videos on your television? All of this and it runs on Android 2.1. Tell me that isn’t the coolest thing next to an iPhone 4G and I will call you a liar.

Robert Culp Passes Away
I-Spy and Greatest American Hero actor passes away at 79. Yeah he was on I-Spy with Bill Cosby, but he will always be remembered by me as Agent Bill Maxwell on the short lived, but not short loved series The Greatest American Hero. You will be missed.

Uhm, hello? Start of MLS season?
I’ve never heard of such a thing. ; )
Is the MLS on the other other other other other other OTHER list?
mls stinks.
booooo mls.
Dudes, whatever, YOU guys stink.
Meh, DC United is going to be crap this year, again. Quite possibly moving to Baltimore. If that happens, I will join the “MLS sucks” bandwagon. Until then, MLS RULEZ!
