Obama Signs a New Nuclear Weapons Treaty

Depending upon whether or not you remember the Cold War might play a role in whether or not you like the new treaty.  The most notable term of the new agreement is a ban on the production of new nukes which leaves room for the allowance of maintenance of older nuclear technology.  This is very much like banning the production of Deloreans, but allowing for flux capacitor upgrades just so Biff can steal the car and go back to 1985.  Do we really want to risk someone going back in time to create an alternate time line in the space-time continuum? I don’t think so.  Run for it Marty!

Jesse James on Being a Neo Nazi

This week the spin begins on a photograph that surfaced on US magazine of Jesse James wearing a Nazi hat.  Lawyers in the James camp claim that it was a gag gift from a Jewish mentor. Other gag gifts from the mentor: ashes from Auschwitz prison, the bones from a slave from the civil war era and an unlit cross with a fresh supply of gasoline.

Earthquakes

Apparently this is the week for global earthquakes. Mexicali registered a quake at 7.2 and Indonesia had one at 7.7.  The Russian judge was less kind giving Mexi-cali a 6.9 and Indonesia a 7.2.  The scores will be averaged in order to decide which country will win the Pat Robertson Cursed Nation Award.
